Final Blog Post For "Now You See It..."

Ok. Here we go.
What do you think is the defining moment or moments for the main
character and/or other major characters in the book?

Passage from book:
"Sometimes, I reminded myself, you just have to let go.
I rubbed the tears away. I would do the right thing, I decided: I would forgive my father for choosing another woman over my mother and me; I would forgive my mother for choosing another man after my father and in addition to me; I would forgive my grandmother for leaving me; and I would forgive myself for not being the person I wanted to be, though I would try harder to be that person."
I think that this passage shows perfectly the moment in which Wendy (the main character) changes or that this is a "defining moment" for Wendy. Up until this point, Wendy has seemed to hold a grudge against everyone for seemingly silly reasons- like Wendy's grandmother who has Alzheimer's and forgets everything or Wendy's dad who apparently wasn't there for her when she was growing up. It took Wendy traveling back in time to meet her grandmother in the 1950's to literally see and meet a positive influence, which in tern affected Wendy to the point where she changes and decides to try and be a better person. -katthegreat08
